Born: April 12th, 1956 (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).

From early age develops great vocation for painting, learning the artistic rudiments in the workshop of his father, the master Guillo Pérez.

Has exhibited his artworks in different art galleries and museums in the following countries and cities around the world: Dominican Republic, Guadalupe, Puerto Rico, Honduras, Panama, Spain, France and the United States (Miami, Key Largo, New York, Providence and New Jersey). He has participated in the most important Art Fair of New York in the last three years.

Has presented 18 solo art expositions and has participated in over 50 collectives.

Willy Pérez is a wide intellectually trained artist and masters all pictorial techniques, something which permits him to approach the topics with skill and quality.

The Caribbean colors are a constant in all his work, reflecting with his strokes the light and the energy of the colors of his roots.

His work has deserved awards and recognition in prominent contests of the Dominican Republic.
